Those ever-brilliant ladies (and gents) at Etsy are always keeping a nose in the air for rising trends. Lately, they’ve been chatting about woodland creatures … what’s out, what’s in.
Remember that big love for owls not long ago? Heck, what am I saying, it’s still out there! And of course, the even grander stampede to embrace everything lovebird?
Well, the newest forest crush is on foxes, claim Etsy-istas. And they are so darn cute! I hope we see lots and lots of foxes as the year rolls on. (Word geeks might know that a group of foxes is called a skulk, which is slightly creepy and cool at the same time, but hey, we’ll let that slide).

Anyhow, the whole concept of fox weddings reminds me of those lovely old legends — by tradition, “fox weddings” happen on a day that’s rainy and sunny all at once. And of that unforgettable fox wedding in Akira Kurosawa’s Dreams.
And at the same time, isn’t there something Merry Olde England about them (see gorgeous custom Fox & Hare invites above)?
So, which foxy creation is your fave? The letterpress coasters? The ring pillow, or adorable cake toppers? It’s so hard to choose!

Awesome collaboration! Who knew foxes were the new thing? I love those coasters… and I'm off to go find ways to use "skulk" in my vocab. ;) – Jacqueline
