I had a grey wedding dress for my garden wedding last august. I got a ton of compliments on the color and I absolutely loved it. It was great as depending on the light, it either looked oyster-y, blusish or grey. I recommend for everyone who isn't a wear white type of bride!

Oh gosh I love grey. Please don't let it become popular or on trend. That would make me sad. I love Ulrich Engler's grey wedding dresses. So beautiful.

Wow! That's so crazy that google actually has a program for tracking trends! Personally, I love the brown color scheme. I think it goes with everything. srsly. As far as grey dresses are concerned.... well they are pretty, but it would have to be something drastic so it doesn't look dirty (project runway anyone?).

Really liked this post, most of all because I've been a fan of gray for a long, long time. I also own quite a bit of brown in my wardrobe, but gray (despite it's working class roots) has a distinguished feel about it, plus you can match just about any other color with it as an accent and it works. The problem with gray is that many people associate it with a drab spring day (having grown up in Ohio, I was once of of these people). It sounds like gray is currently going through a bit of rebranding ... hopefully it sticks.

On a different topic, I couldn't find your email address on your blog, but I wanted to get your opinion on a new online wedding planner that we just launched and see if you think it would be worth mentioning to your readers. It's called <a href="http://www.MyWeddingWorkbook.com target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.MyWeddingWorkbook.com and it's free to anyone who wants to use it. If you want you can either create your own account or view a demo account at our test drive launch. And if you like it and think your readers would like it, we'd be so grateful for a mention or a link on your blog. Take care, Jeff

And what if it were called Dusty Silver or Matte Argent ? Do you think that would take some of the "edge" off for those purists who dare to fall for a GRAY wedding dress? I, personally, LOVE the trend- I think that chocolate brown has trickled down as far as it can go. Give it a rest and bring it back in 20 years as a "Millennial throwback" , our daughters will LOVE the retro chocolate brown and green apple palettes! JMHO!
