It was probably inevitable. In the process of creating boards in response to this or that bride’s specific question, I have a number of them that have sat around looking pretty, but gotten completely lost in the wilds of old comments threads, months or even years ago. Another dorky thing about them … most don’t have credits. They did at one point, but seem to have wafted away with one or another hard drive crash. :(
I’m going to post them anyway, even though these aren’t fully worked-up mood boards, because they got some saves at their original location on flickr, so it seems like some brides have found them useful. Needless to say, if one of the thumbnails in them is is yours and you want a credit, just drop a note.
Aqua & Black Damask Wedding. Black was one of the latecomers to the mad Tiffany/aqua fest of 2007-08. Pics were hard to find, and brides were interested but doubtful. Of course, these colors turned out to be gorgeous together.
Black & White plus Lavender. Lots of colors were up for grabs when black & white first hit the scene, but lavender wasn’t seen very often, since Vera Wang hadn’t popularized purple yet. This was an early attempt to visualize it.

Black, White & Yellow. There was one wedding in particular that set off a mad rush of love for these three colors, one of the earlier super-modern color schemes. This board added a few more pics to the mix.

Pure Copper. This Lilliputian mood board was jamming on the first bits of Indian influence in stateside weddings, with their glorious metallics and jewel tones.
Royal Purple & White Garden Wedding. This was pretty simple — a bride who looooooooved royal purple but had a summertime date, and was worried purple would be too dark.
Red & Brown Fall Wedding. Brides had just come out with a fall brown and red wedding scheme, and there was a sudden burst of interest in it … but hardly any photos. This was a tough one to cobble together way back when. :)

Chocolate, Mocha and Ivory. I can’t even remember what request started this off, but I still like the subdued, dusty, summertime feel. A range of browns always feels Southern and authentic to me.
And speaking of Southern, let’s finish up with …

A Chocolate, Orange & Gold Southern Wedding. Another subdued palette that’s perfect for a warm and dusty summer day, despite the traditionally autumn colors.
